The Census 2000 represented an awakening to the Hispanic Market for many public and private organizations, and for the whole country!
The Census 2010 can confirm many of the growing trends and the importance of the Hispanic population in the U.S. It will bring concrete benefits to cities and individuals through the assignment of pubic funds that would allow for better public services, infrastructure, investments, and many others.
The Census 2010 is the time for Hispanics to make themselves count!
Challenging times call for heroes. And Univision 33 wants to encourage and recognize those day-to-day heroes who, through daily simple actions, make a difference in the life of others around.
Giving away books to those who need them, teaching music to kids, giving used clothes to charity organizations, helping somebody change the spare tire... It is time to bring the hero in ourselves and get united together to create a better society.
Univision 33 is partnering with the Maricopa Department of Public Health to fight the A-H1-N1 Virus, commonly known as “swine flu”.
An aggressive education campaign help viewers learn daily habits that will prevent spreading the virus. But that’s not all... financial advice to provide for the family while fighting the virus, medical information, immunization calendar, and a complete set of information.
Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arizona and Food City joined forces in the campaign as sponsors of this great initiative.
The partnership between The City of Phoenix and Univision 33 goes one step farther, collaborating to transform Phoenix into the “Greenest City in America”.
A series of educational vignettes profile the efforts of the City of Phoenix on sustainability, and translate those into family habits that can bring green to our city, and to the viewer’s pockets!
Univision 33 and Salt River Project, SRP, bring viewers a campaign to save money on electricity, gas, water, air conditioner, and others.
In plain language, vignettes and segments tell viewers how to use tools such as the thermostat, insulation, filters, energy plans or alternative energy technologies, to reduce the bills month after month.
This year, Univision 33 viewers will enjoy some extra dollars in their pocket, thanks to SRP and “Cuidando su Bolsillo”
